1984

The beginnig of 1984 is boring and is a drag to read. But as I got further into the story I found it more interesting. I've heard of the quote "big brother is watching you" but I never knew where it was from. I like the way the main character, Winston, goes against the whole idea. The fact that they have thought police is very disturbing. Winston is not a believer of Big Brother at all. It is outrageous how strict the government is in this story.
